Jack Randle - Director

Louise wrote ‘Glutton for Punishment’ which was published by Pan Books whilst she was still at the University of East Anglia studying Linguistics. She then worked in TV production for a number of years for Yorkshire Television, Channel Four and the BBC.

Mothering three children in fairly quick succession seemed strangely to inspire her to write and produce a string of plays, maybe it was the promise of child free Saturday mornings when she would be left alone to write – sounds quite likely!

Since 1999 she has written ‘Frankie’s Game’, ‘Girls Night’, ‘Bobby & Johnny’, ‘Milton Keynes The Musical’, ‘Lucky Balls’, ’Girls Behind’, ‘Happy Christmas Shirley’, ’True Love’, ‘Checkout Girls’, 'Same Difference', 'Red Letter Day', ‘Girls Night Too’ and ‘Finding Daddy’.

She has also written for ITV’s ‘Where The Heart Is’ and is currently developing a series for ITV. In 2001 she was voted Millennium Woman by Milton Keynes Women of Enterprise. In 2003 she became a director of theatre company ‘Goodnights Entertainment Ltd’. She is married to director Jack Randle and they have three daughters Megan, Estelle and Nancy. In her spare time she spends many happy hours sticking sequins on the girls’ dance costumes.
